<p>Sample Recipe #1: Chicken Marinara</p>
<p>List of ingredients:<br />
chicken, 100 grams<br />
tomato, 1 small, diced<br />
garlic, 2 to 3 cloves<br />
oregano, 1 teaspoon<br />
basil, 1 teaspoon<br />
chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon<br />
garlic powder, just a dash<br />
salt and pepper, just a dash</p>
<p>Simple directions:<br />
Oven should be preheated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place half of the tomatoes at the bottom of the casserole dish followed by the chicken after it has been seared for a couple minutes on each side with the benefit of garlic powder, salt and pepper. When you add the chicken to the casserole dish also add the garlic (minced). In a separate, small bowl you should toss the remaining tomatoes with the oregano, basil and chili powder. Place the tossed ingredients over the chicken in the casserole. Cover the casserole dish and cook it for 50 to 60 minutes. Serve it warm and enjoy! </p>
<p>Sample Recipe #2: Turkey and Tomato Soup</p>
<p>List of ingredients:<br />
turkey, 100 grams, cooked<br />
tomatoes, 2 cans stewed or crushed (preferably of the organic variety)<br />
garlic, 3 cloves, crushed<br />
red wine vinegar, 2 teaspoons<br />
parsley, just a pinch<br />
cumin, just a pinch<br />
basil, just a pinch<br />
rosemary, just a pinch<br />
red pepper flakes, just a pinch</p>
<p>Directions:<br />
Put tomatoes and garlic in a pot and add seasonings. Cook for 5 minutes. Add the cooked turkey and bring it to a boil. Cook for 5-10 additional minutes and serve warm. </p>
<p>Trying out 2 recipes might not give you an all inclusive idea of what to expect on the program, but it will give you an idea of what&#8217;s possible. And what&#8217;s possible is that you can eat healthy and still enjoy what you&#8217;re eating. The HCG program is a weight loss program so fudge and cheesecake aren&#8217;t on the menu&#8230;but you&#8217;ll be surprised at how much you like what is on the menu!</p>
